Donkin park, South Africa

The biggest attraction of Port Elizabeth is Donkin Park. The lighthouse and the beautiful pyramid will attract your attention from afar. The lighthouse is a tourist center building. If you have any questions, they will be happy to help you.

The pyramid was built to commemorate the wife of Governor Port Elizabeth. The plaque on it reads To the memory of one of the most perfect of human beings who has given her name to the Town below.

From there, you'll see SA history underneath the wheels, and also the memorial commemorating the first free elections and personality of Nelson Mandela.

There is also a trail going down to the center of the city. Along the way, you will see works of art referring again to Nelson Mandela. A nice stroll, although it may be bit steeper.

Carrières de Lumiéres, France

In the former limestone quarries near Baux de Provence, adjusted into a huge hall with carved benches, it is the largest multimedia projection in France called Carrières de Lumières. It's something amazing.

Through 70 projectors, over 6,000 square meters of space where many painting of famous artists are projected on walls, ceilings and floors. The main artist of the exhibition was the great Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. The rooms were as cool as in the church, classical music was loudly accompanying the art on the walls, the paintings were slowly disappearing and others show up ... and we walked astonished and we did not want to leave. That was something!
